The end is nigh.........

It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of May. I just don't know where the time goes, it doesn't feel so long ago that we were hosting Denmark, in four days time, we will be hosting our quilters from Israel.

The banners are up both in Ailsa Craig and in Parkhill, a reminder to those that drive through, and I know they have been seen by many quilters,  but also to welcome our guests.

The hanging plan has been done and needs just a minor tweak which I will do today, and then we just wait for the frames to go up on Friday,THEN, we can start hanging Saturday morning. It should go smoothly if we did the job right!!!

I have been busy making a few gifts for our quilters, I have made a small wall hanging for our contact in the Jewish community and also decided it would be a great idea to make placemats for the visiting quilters. So far, I have three made awaiting binding and then one to make form the beginning, I guess it will be a late night tonight!
